Softball Recap: Gallatin Comes Up Short

Gallatin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They lost 12-2 to the Green Hill Hawks. The Green Wave were not able to make up for their loss to the Hawks from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Gallatin saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bailey Daughtry, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Gallatin's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Green Hill, their win was their 23rd straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 24-2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gallatin will head out to face off against Lebanon at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Green Hill, they will venture away from home to take on Independence at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
