Volleyball Recap: Christel House Comes Up Short

Christel House was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Mooresville Pioneers. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pioneers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-18, 25-17.

Kevin Cruz Vera paced Christel House's offense, picking up four kills. Cruz Vera got some help from Jason Zea and his six assists.

Christel House's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Mooresville, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Christel House is set to take on their familiar foe Indianapolis Arsenal Technical at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Mooresville will challenge rival Indianapolis Shortridge at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
