Basketball Recap: Purcell Gets the Win

Purcell hadn't done well against Tuttle recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Dragons secured a 54-48 W over the Tigers. This was payback for the Dragons, who suffered a 41-39 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Purcell's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-15. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.7 points over those games. As for Tuttle, their loss dropped their record down to 16-14.

As of now, neither Purcell nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
