Basketball Game Preview: Tidehaven Tigers vs. Rice Consolidated Raiders

The Tidehaven Tigers will venture away from home to square off against the Rice Consolidated Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Having struggled with 17 losses in a row dating back to last season, Tidehaven turned things around against Palacios on Friday. They strolled past the Sharks with points to spare, taking the game 59-42. The Tigers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, after a string of seven wins, Rice Consolidated's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. The match between them and Columbus didn't end well, with Rice Consolidated falling 85-67.

Tidehaven's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-9. As for Rice Consolidated, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-7.
