Basketball Recap: Crestview Takes a Loss

Crestview saw some tournament action on Wednesday. They took a blow against the Lake Catholic Cougars, falling 65-30. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Crestview lost, don't look at Tyler Savage. Despite the final result, he posted 11 points. Savage is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Dylan Stoffer, who scored six points.

Crestview's defeat dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Lake Catholic, their victory ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-16.

Crestview does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lake Catholic, they have already played their next game, a 74-54 loss against Fairview on the 28th.
