Baseball Recap: Worthington Christian Triumphs

After losing to Bishop Ready the last time they met, Worthington Christian decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Warriors came out on top against the Silver Knights by a score of 9-4 on Monday.

Hunter Doran was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 13 over 5.1 innings pitched. Doran was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-4.

In other batting news, Jameson Colley was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-5. Another player making a difference was Chase Crawford, who scored a run and stole three bases while going 2-for-4.

Worthington Christian's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Bishop Ready, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
