Baseball Recap: Waskom Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Waskom's offense. They lost 16-0 to the Carlisle Indians on Friday. The Wildcats have struggled against the Indians recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Waskom's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Carlisle, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-14.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Waskom will challenge Union Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Carlisle, they will square off against Harleton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Indians surely won't give up without a fight.
