Softball Recap: Wright Tech Takes a Loss

After flying high against Whitney RVT on Monday, Wright Tech came back down to earth. The Warriors took a 14-11 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Platt Tech Panthers on Wednesday. The Warriors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 24-8.

Wright Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Platt Tech, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wright Tech will challenge Bullard-Havens at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 22.78 runs per game on average), something the Warriors will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Platt Tech, they will square off against Whitney RVT at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The Owls have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 18.11 runs per game on average), something the Panthers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
