Volleyball Recap: Grapeland Triumphs

Grapeland posted their closest win since October 11, 2024 on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Kemp Yellowjackets 2-1. This was a revenge game for the Sandies: when they faced off against the Yellowjackets on August 14th, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.

Grapeland's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Kemp, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.

Coming up, Grapeland will welcome Neches at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kemp, they are taking a road trip to take on Mildred at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
