Baseball Game Preview: Glenbrook Apaches vs. Plain Dealing Lions

Glenbrook is a perfect 3-0 against Plain Dealing since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Glenbrook Apaches will be playing in front of their home fans against the Plain Dealing Lions at 6:00 p.m.

Friday just wasn't the day for Glenbrook's offense. They came up short against North DeSoto on Friday, falling 6-0. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Apaches were not able to get on the board.

Glenbrook saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Waller, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Plain Dealing). They were the clear victor by a 19-12 margin over Bossier on Saturday. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Plain Dealing's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Glenbrook, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8-1.

Glenbrook took their win against Plain Dealing in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 17-0. Will Glenbrook repeat their success, or does Plain Dealing have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
