West Geauga had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.3 points) and they went ahead and made it ten on Friday. They walked away with a 77-70 win over the Perry Pirates. This was a revenge game for the Wolverines: when they faced off against the Pirates back in January, they had to take a 76-64 defeat.

West Geauga pushed their record up to 17-4 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points over those games. As for Perry, their loss dropped their record down to 12-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Geauga will face off against Jefferson Area at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Perry, they will head out on the road to take on Lake Catholic at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Perry knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Lake Catholic likes a good challenge.
