Moses Aguirre Game Report: @ Santa Maria

Orcutt Academy had to settle for second on Tuesday, but Moses Aguirre sure wasn't going down easily. Despite the defeat, Aguirre was still locked in as he pitched four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

Even though Aguirre couldn't lead Orcutt Academy over Santa Maria, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Spartans have some work to do to even out the 1-9 series between these two since April of 2022, but a win here would be a good start.
