Baseball Game Preview: Bremerton Knights vs. Chimacum Cowboys

The Bremerton Knights will venture away from home to take on the Chimacum Cowboys at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Bremerton managed to slip by North Mason the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Knights came up short against the Bulldogs on Wednesday, falling 10-0.

Meanwhile, Chimacum was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 20-6 to Seattle Christian.

Bremerton has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Chimacum, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.

Everything went Bremerton's way against Chimacum in their previous matchup back in March, as Bremerton made off with a 15-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
