Volleyball Recap: Rahway Gets the Win

After losing to Union the last time they met, Rahway decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Indians narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Farmers 2-1.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Rahway got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 24-26, 25-17.

Jasmine Johnson had a dynamite game, getting seven aces and two blocks. Those seven aces gave her a new career-high.

Rahway's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Union, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Looking ahead, Rahway will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Thomas Aquinas at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Union, they will take on Colonia at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
