Football Game Preview: Blanchet Catholic Cavaliers vs. Salem Academy Crusaders + How To Watch

The Blanchet Catholic Cavaliers will face off against the Salem Academy Crusaders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Blanchet Catholic will be strutting in after a victory while Salem Academy will be coming in after a loss.

Blanchet Catholic is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They snuck past Amity with a 24-20 win on Friday.

Meanwhile, Salem Academy came up short against Taft on Friday, falling 42-21. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the defeat, Salem Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Taiki Kawamura threw for 210 yards and three touchdowns.

Salem Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Blanchet Catholic, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Blanchet Catholic couldn't quite get it done against Salem Academy in their previous matchup back in April of 2021 as they fell 21-14. Can the Cavaliers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
