Volleyball Recap: Berea-Midpark Has No Trouble Against Fairview

Berea-Midpark won the last time they faced Fairview and things went their way on Saturday too. The Titans were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Warriors.

Berea-Midpark was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-20, 25-6.

Bella Mccutcheon paced Berea-Midpark's offense, picking up 12 kills. Mccutcheon got some help from Sophia Serrano and her 25 assists. Finally, Mccutcheon was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high five blocks.

When it comes to explaining why Fairview lost, don't look at Josie Bobko. Despite the final result, she had 20 digs. Bobko is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Berea-Midpark's victory bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Fairview, their loss ended a seven-match streak of away wins and brought them to 16-6.

Berea-Midpark didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Wooster on the 14th. As for Fairview, they will be taking part in a tournament against Triway at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
