Southside starts season with win against West Craven

The Southside Seahawks gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand West Craven a 3-0 shutout. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Southside also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2023.

Southside will head out on the road to challenge Greene Central at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for West Craven, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against East Carteret at 6:00 p.m.
