Soccer Recap: Austin Takes a Loss

Austin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 11-0 to the Waltrip Rams. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-0 back in February.

Austin's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Waltrip, their victory bumped their record up to 12-7.

Looking ahead, Austin will challenge Sharpstown at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Austin has given up an average of 7.2 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. Waltrip does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
