Basketball Recap: Pasadena Comes Up Short

Pasadena was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 54-45 to the Splendora Wildcats. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 59-46.

Among those leading the charge was Ja'Mari Brumley, who posted 20 points. What's more, he also posted a 50% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2025. Another player making a difference was Trey Bennett, who earned four points along with 13 rebounds and four blocks.

Pasadena's defeat dropped their record down to 8-24. As for Splendora, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-20.

Pasadena wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 46-42 loss against Kingwood Park on the 17th. As for Splendora, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 68-63 defeat against Crosby on the 17th.
