Basketball Recap: Lincoln West Takes a Loss

Lincoln West and Glenville squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Lincoln West had to settle for second. They were outmatched by the Glenville Tarblooders and fell 80-36. The Wolverines' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it six in a row.

Javion Davenport had an outrageously good game for Glenville as he posted 24 points. Those 24 points gave Davenport a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Amir Lessears, who put up 11 points and six boards.

Lincoln West's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Glenville, their victory was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-6.

Lincoln West does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Glenville, they have already played their next contest, an 85-64 win against Cloverleaf on the 25th.
