Soccer Recap: Fairfield Comes Up Short

If Fairfield was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Knoxville on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Trojans came up short against the Burlington Grayhounds on Thursday, falling 9-1. The defeat continues a trend for Fairfield in their meetings with Burlington: they've now lost eight in a row.

Fairfield's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Burlington, their win bumped their record up to 5-1-1.
