After losing to Heritage Christian Academy the last time they met, Shawnee Mission Northwest decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Cougars came out on top against the Chargers by a score of  2-0  on Saturday. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Cougars.
 Shawnee Mission Northwest never let Heritage Christian Academy on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12,  29-27.
Shawnee Mission Northwest's offense was headlined by  Sophie Salmon and  Delani Luttrell, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from  Lilli Weber and her 15 assists.  Bo Bronson controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
Shawnee Mission Northwest's victory bumped their record up to 18-6. As for Heritage Christian Academy, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record  this season.
 Coincidentally, Shawnee Mission Northwest and Heritage Christian Academy will both be playing Blue Valley Northwest the next time they take the court. The Chargers will  host the Huskies at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday, while the Cougars will play them later in the day, at 12:00  p.m.
