Basketball Recap: Tri-West Hendricks Comes Up Short

Tri-West Hendricks was the 38-30 winner over Bloomington South when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Tri-West Hendricks Bruins took a blow against the Bloomington South Panthers on Friday, falling 56-27. While losing is never fun, the Bruins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 182nd, while the Panthers are ranked 22nd).

Several Bruins players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lauren Bear, who posted ten points.

Tri-West Hendricks has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season. As for Bloomington South, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 14-1.

Tri-West Hendricks is taking a road trip to challenge University at 1:00 p.m. on January 4th. As for Bloomington South, they will face off against New Albany at 12:30 p.m. on January 4th.
