The Bishop Feehan Shamrocks will face off against the Durfee Hilltoppers at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bishop Feehan's pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so Durfee's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Last Monday, Bishop Feehan didn't have quite enough to beat St. Mary's and fell 4-2. The match marked the Shamrocks' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Bishop Feehan got a good showing from Ryan Bessell, who tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Bessell has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Jack Johnson was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run was his first of the season.

Meanwhile, Durfee waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Indians by a score of 12-8. The matchup marked the Hilltoppers' most dominant victory of the season so far.
