Recap: Daniel Lions vs. Corbin Redhounds
The Daniel Lions's game on Thursday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They walked away with a 74-64 victory over Corbin. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
It was another big night for Simms Disbrow, who scored 27 points. Those 27 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Tristyn Carrington, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds.
Daniel is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Corbin, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
Daniel is on the road again on Tuesday and play against T.L. Hanna at 7:30 p.m. on January 2nd. T.L. Hanna presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Daniel in South Carolina (T.L. Hanna is ranked tenth, while Daniel is ranked 81st). As for Corbin, they will play host again and welcome Danville Christian Academy, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
