Volleyball Recap: Chrisman Extends Winning Streak to Three

Chrisman had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Salt Fork Storm. That's more bragging rights for the Cardinals, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Chrisman was: they took both sets by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-13.

Mikayla Wheeler paced Chrisman's offense, picking up four kills. Wheeler got some help from Morgan Simpson and her 11 assists. Simpson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 3-5. As for Salt Fork, they dropped their record down to 4-4 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Chrisman wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Heritage on the 22nd. Salt Fork has also already played their next matchup (against Danville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
