They walked away with a 51-39 win over Dayton Christian. This was payback for Legacy Christian Academy, who suffered a 60-49 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Legacy Christian Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jacob Thompson out in front who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 15 rebounds. Thompson is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last 12 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Michael Little, who scored 17 points.
Legacy Christian Academy pushed their record up to 13-3 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points per game. As for Dayton Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.
