Guyer extended their postseason success on Friday against Mansfield Legacy. They had just enough and edged out the Broncos 6-5. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Broncos on Thursday, they had to take a 5-2 loss.

Guyer is on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Mansfield Legacy, their defeat dropped their record down to 29-8.

Looking ahead, Guyer will face off against Marcus on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wildcats 2.4, the Marauders 2.8) so any runs scored will be well earned. Mansfield Legacy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
