Volleyball Recap: ALA - Ironwood Comes Up Short

If ALA - Ironwood was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of ALA - Anthem South on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors came up short against the Benjamin Franklin Chargers on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Warriors have struggled against the Chargers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-11, 25-16.

ALA - Ironwood's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Benjamin Franklin, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 18-10.

While ALA - Ironwood had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on the 9th.
