Volleyball Recap: Lake Forest Academy Takes a Loss

Lake Forest Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Westlake Christian Academy Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Caxys of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Westlake Christian Academy found their leader in freshman Katie Ledr, who had 18 digs.

Lake Forest Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Westlake Christian Academy, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-4.

Lake Forest Academy has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Alden-Hebron on the 13th. As for Westlake Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Judah Christian on the 13th.
