Volleyball Game Preview: Waldron Mohawks vs. Edinburgh Lancers

The Waldron Mohawks will head out to face off against the Edinburgh Lancers at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.

Waldron saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Madison. The Mohawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Edinburgh, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They put the hurt on Crothersville with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday. The Lancers not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since October 8, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Edinburgh never let Crothersville on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-12, 25-23.

Waldron's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Edinburgh, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-15.

Waldron beat Edinburgh 2-0 in their previous meeting back in August. Do the Mohawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lancers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
