After losing to Ida the last time they met, Grosse Ile decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Grosse Ile Red Devils rang in the new year with a 51-38 victory over the Ida Bluestreaks on Friday. The win was familiar territory for the Red Devils who have now won four contests in a row.

Grosse Ile's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Ida, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Grosse Ile will host Monroe at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Grosse Ile is facing Monroe at the right time seeing as Monroe is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Ida, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 44-41 win against Whiteford on the 6th.
