Oregon dropped their record down to 18-5 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's 11-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Winnebago Indians by a score of 10-9. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Hawks, who until this game were averaging 3.48 runs allowed.

Oregon got a massive performance out of Lola Schwarz, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. Olivia Ortega was another key player, going 2-for-5 with one home run and three RBI.

As for Winnebago, their record now sits at 9-11. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for their hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

On Winnebago's side, Vanessa Warkentien was incredible, going 3-for-5 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. Those four RBI gave Warkentien a new career-high.

Looking ahead, Oregon will take on North Boone at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something the Hawks surely won't give up without a fight. As for Winnebago, they will square off against Lutheran at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Indians are facing the Crusaders at the right time seeing as the Crusaders are stuck on a 14-game losing streak.
