Volleyball Recap: Morrison Takes a Loss

Morrison lost against Fulton back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Mustangs fell just short of the Steamers by a score of 2-1. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Morrison started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-18, 25-19.

Elle Milnes paced Morrison's offense, picking up six kills. Milnes got some help from Bricelyn Osborn and her six assists. Milnes and Osborn didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with two apiece.

Morrison now has a losing record of 10-11-2. As for Fulton, they have been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Morrison will challenge Newman Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Fulton, they will be taking part in a tournament against Erie-Prophetstown at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
