Cony and Oceanside are an even 3-3 against one another since May of 2022, but likely not for long. The Rams will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against the Mariners at 4:15 p.m. The timing is sure in Cony's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Oceanside has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.

Cony will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs last Tuesday, then bounced right back against Waterville on Wednesday. The Rams blew past the Panthers 15-1. Considering the Rams have won four matches by more than eight runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Oceanside came up short against Lawrence on Monday and fell 7-2.

Cony has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Oceanside, their loss dropped their record down to 1-12.

Everything went Cony's way against Oceanside when the teams last played back in April, as Cony made off with a 15-1 win. Will the Rams repeat their success, or do the Mariners have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
