Jt Johnson looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off five hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five).

On the hitting side, Cade Smith was incredible, going 3-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March of 2024. Brody Barnett also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
