Football Recap: Mills University Studies Skates Past Blytheville with Ease

Mills University Studies extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping them up to 3-0. They blew past the Blytheville Chickasaws 42-7. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Comets' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas football rankings (they are ranked 26th, while the Chickasaws are ranked 85th).

As for Blytheville, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1. They haven't had much luck with Mills University Studies recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Despite the loss, Blytheville still got an impressive performance from Courtney Rogers, who rushed for 129 yards and one touchdown on only 15 carries. Rogers is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 129 every time he's taken the field this season.

Mills University Studies and Blytheville will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Comets will square off against rival Bald Knob at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Blytheville is set to take on their familiar foe Westside at 7:00 p.m. on October 3.
