Baseball Recap: Frontier's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Frontier hadn't done well against West Lafayette recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Falcons never let the Red Devils get on the board and left with a 6-0 win. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by six runs or more this season.

The victory (which was Frontier's third in a row) raised their record to 10-3. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for West Lafayette, they moved to 6-6 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Frontier will venture away from home to challenge Delphi Community at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for West Lafayette, they will head out to take on Rensselaer Central at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
