Basketball Game Preview: Mount Academy Eagles vs. Rhinebeck Hawks

It'll be Battle of the Birds when the Mount Academy Eagles duke it out with the Rhinebeck Hawks at 5:45 p.m. on Friday... One thing working in Mount Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matchups.

Mount Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed by Pine Plains to the tune of 106-48 on Tuesday. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Rhinebeck came up short against Cornwall Central back in December of 2024 and fell 45-36.

Rhinebeck's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Mount Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.
