Baseball Recap: Cooter Wildcats vs. Scott City Rams
Cooter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Scott City Rams, falling 16-5. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rams apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2022.
Hunter Sams made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. Jaxson Mathis also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
Cooter's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Scott City, they pushed their record up to 35-1 with the victory, which was their 15th straight at home.
