Basketball Recap: Glendale Takes a Loss

Glendale saw some tournament action on Thursday. They fell to the Bishop Alemany Warriors 57-52. The contest marked the Nitros' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Glendale lost, don't look at Joshua Ballard. Despite the final result, he went 7 for 11 on his way to 24 points and five assists. Mason Manalo was another key player, putting up eight points and seven rebounds.

This is the second loss in a row for Glendale and nudges their season record down to 8-6. As for Bishop Alemany, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-1.

Glendale won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Dominguez at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bishop Alemany, they will also get right back to it: they'll take on Palisades at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
