Recap: Tate Aggies vs. Gulf Breeze Dolphins
The Tate Aggies lost against the Gulf Breeze Dolphins back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Tate took a 27-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of Gulf Breeze. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Tate in their matchups with Gulf Breeze: they've now lost five in a row.
Despite the loss, Tate still got an impressive performance from ANDRE COLSTON, who rushed for 101 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries.
Gulf Breeze can attribute much of their success to Battle Alberson, who rushed for 110 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries, and also threw for 280 yards and a touchdown while completing 74.2% of his passes. Bryson Rouillier also helped out with an impressive 151 receiving yards.
Tate's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Gulf Breeze, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tate will square off against Escambia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Gulf Breeze, they will head out on the road to face off against Navarre at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Navarre will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
