Basketball Game Preview: Jemez Valley Warrior vs. Menaul Panthers

Jemez Valley hasn't had much luck against Menaul recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Jemez Valley Warrior will be playing at home against the Menaul Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Jemez Valley is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They managed a 62-57 victory over Native American Community Academy/Evangel Christian Academy on Tuesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Warrior as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Menaul was just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 56-55 to Legacy Academy. While the Panthers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Silverbacks 13-9 in the first quarter.

Menaul's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Jemez Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 2-16.
