Baseball Recap: Greeley Quakers vs. Harrison Huskies

Greeley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 8-5 to the Harrison Huskies. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Huskies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-8 on Friday.

Spencer Walden made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and two RBI. That stolen base was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Ben Falk, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Greeley's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Harrison, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-7.

Looking ahead, Greeley will take on Carmel at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Quakers are facing the Rams at the right time seeing as the Rams are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. Harrison does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
