Baseball Recap: Cleveland Drops Season-High Score on Central

Cleveland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 9-8 heartbreaker at the hands of the Central Panthers. On the bright side, the eight- run performance marked the Warriors' highest-scoring match to date.

Cleveland's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Central, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 3-4 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cleveland will challenge Sprague at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Olympians will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight. As for Central, they will head out to challenge La Salle at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Falcons' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
