Soccer Recap: Arlington Comes Up Short

Arlington and JSerra Catholic squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Arlington had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to JSerra Catholic. The game was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Arlington couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Hugo Gomez, who's now up to 20 this season.

Arlington's loss dropped their record down to 17-2. As for JSerra Catholic, the win keeps them at an undefeated 14-0.

While Arlington had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
