Baseball Recap: Queen Creek's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Thursday

If Queen Creek was feeling good fresh off their 11-4 takedown of Mountain Ridge last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Highland Hawks by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hawks earlier this season, when they won 5-4.

Queen Creek saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Manny Hoyos, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Hoyos also put up a double, which was his first of the season.
