Baseball Recap: Rye Has No Trouble Against Rye Neck

Rye barely beat Rye Neck the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Garnets blew past the Panthers 14-4 on Wednesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Garnets also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2023.

Rye has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs this season. As for Rye Neck, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-2.

Coming up, Rye will take on Mamaroneck at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rye Neck, they will challenge Harrison at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
