Luke Baker of San Ramon Valley is the California High School Football Player of the Week

Senior quarterback had impressive first half in blowout win with six total touchdowns.

After garnering 54,193 of the 72,075 votes cast, Luke Baker of San Ramon Valley (Danville) is is this week's MaxPreps California High School Football Player of the Week. Baker received more than percent of the total voting.

The senior quarterback completed 19 of 29 pass attempts for 364 yards and five touchdowns while rushing for another – all in the first half – in a 66-12 win over Liberty (Brentwood).

Here are the rest of this week's candidates:

Wyatt Becker, Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth): Set a school record with seven touchdown passes on 18 of 22 for 364 yards. He also added a rushing score in a 63-6 win over Liberty (Peoria, Ariz.).

Nathan Crawford, Twelve Bridges (Lincoln): Senior running back scored five touchdowns while rushing for 221 yards in a 42-7 win over Bear River (Grass Valley).

Dermaricus Davis, Etiwanda: Senior quarterback tossed six touchdown passes and threw for 278 yards in a 48-26 win over Cajon (San Bernardino).

Cornell Hatcher Jr., Centennial (Corona): Senior running back rushed for 305 yards and four scores, including the game-winner with 31 seconds left in a 42-35 win over Liberty (Peoria, Ariz.).



Jackson Kollock, Laguna Beach: Junior quarterback threw seven touchdowns on 19 of 21 passing for 383 yards in a 75-12 win over Lakeside (Lake Elsinore).

Boone Lourd, Brentwood School (Los Angeles): Senior quarterback was 10 of 18 passing for 108 yards and three touchdowns while adding 122 yards rushing on 12 carries with two more scores in a 43-24 win over Palisades (Pacific Palisades).

Brady Smigiel, Newbury Park (Newbury Park): Sophomore quarterback threw for 419 yards and six touchdowns on 23 of 43 passing in a 54-42 win over Thousand Oaks.
