Softball Game Preview: Redmond Panthers vs. Ridgeview Ravens

Redmond hasn't had much luck against Ridgeview recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Panthers will challenge the Ravens at 4:30 p.m. Redmond has given up an average of 10.7 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Redmond came up short against Caldera on Friday, falling 19-7.

Meanwhile, Ridgeview strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They put the hurt on Mountain View with a sharp 8-2 win. Considering the Ravens have won 11 contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Redmond's loss dropped their record down to 4-11-1. As for Ridgeview, they pushed their record up to 17-0 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Redmond might still be hurting after the 15-0 defeat they got from Ridgeview in their previous matchup last Wednesday. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
